Cheapest iPads online
Where to buy an iPad without breaking the bank? The iPad is one of Apple Computer’s ‘post PC’ products that has exploded in popularity and taken Apple’s stock price with it. It’s not a full computer and it’s not a smart phone, Apple has once again created its own niche in the electronics market with a new class of products that everyone else has followed suit. Apple maintains pretty strict pricing (or should I call it over-pricing) on their products, so discounts and deals are hard to come by in retail stores.
So where to buy an iPad? If you are willing to pay the ridiculous full retail price you can just browse on over to Apple’s official online store and raise their inflated stock price a smidgen by buying direct with your credit card. In fact, they even have financing available at some ungodly interest rate. If you would rather pay substantially lower than retail price (or even get one for free) then read on to discover some little know sources…
Free iPad giveaways
With iPads being as popular as they are, many companies will send you one just for filling out a few ‘affiliate offers’. These companies get paid by advertisers like auto insurance companies, or credit card companies for every application they can get a consumer to fill out. Their solution is to offer prizes, many times an iPad or other Apple product, directly to each consumer who fills out enough applications. Now in order to claim your prize, you need will need to provide your shipping information and fill out an average of 12 different applications of trial offers. Some of them do cost money, however the majority are free applications and trials (just make sure to cancel anything you sign up for). Since the company offering the iPad is paid for each application, they can afford to take a portion of what they make and send you a brand new iPad.
Most of the ‘Best Current iPad Deals’ I link to at the top of the site are freebie deals like this.
Buying iPads in penny auctions
If you don’t feel comfortable filling out a dozen applications to get an iPad for free, you can still get your hands on one for less than $100. For the last few years, penny auctions have been all the rage. They are being called the new ebay, and you can find huge discounts on everything from TV’s to cell phones. iPads are a popular item on these sites, and often sell for under $100. Penny auction sites are not a gimmick, every product they sell starts at $0.01 and increases a penny every time someone places a bid. The catch is every bid costs the bidder a small amount of money, usually around $0.50. There is a countdown timer running for each auction, and when the timer runs out, the last person to bid gets to buy the product at the current price. The penny auction company is making money on the bids, and you need to take into account the amount of money you spend bidding. If you bid 10 times at $0.50 per bid, that’s an extra $5 you need to account for in the cost for the product.
Most penny auction companies will start you out with some free bids, or they will let you buy bids at a discounted rate. If you’re looking to scoop an iPad up for cheap, you can sign up and use the promotional bids to win one of the iPad auctions. My personal favorite penny auction site to scoop up iPads (and other products) for cheap can be found here
Where to buy an iPad
I keep a look out for the cheapest iPad deal (sometimes free) here. The link is always be updated with the cheapest penny auction or the easiest freebie offer for iPads. Now if you are bold, you can fill out these offers everyday and start a small business reselling iPads on craigslist or ebay. I’ve been doing this for quite some time now, and it’s what prompted me to make this site. I never mentioned craigslist or ebay in this post as a source of cheap ipads, mainly because penny auctions are WAY cheaper. But it’s worth stating if you don’t want the hassle of dealing with an auction or filling out trial offers, there’s always craigslist. My only advice is never buy used, always buy in the box new iPads.
So ultimately we want to know where to buy an iPad as cheaply as possible. At iPad for cheap
